Lostwithiel Bridge is one of the oldest in Cornwall it makes a wonderful photograph but its precise date of construction is unknown. Some historians have dated it to the 1200’s and there is recorded evidence that the Bishop of Exeter, Walter de Stapleton met the Prior of Bodmin on the bridge in 1314.
