Carn Brea monument, built to the memory of Francis Basset in 1836. Carn Brea is located between Camborne and Redruth and is accessible by car via Carnkie. The road is very uneven and should be driven at a low speed. Standing on the top of the hill Portreath is clearly visible on a good day
