Carn Euny near Penzance
The Iron Age settlement of Carn Euny is to be found on the A30 west of Penzance. The site is signposted as parts of the Cornwall Heritage initiative but anyone wishing to find this ancient and very interesting location should go to a place called Drift then take a right heading for Sancreed. Just before reaching Sancreed take a left turn up a narrow lane and follow this to the end where there are a few houses and an area to park. Two paths are marked to Carn Euny and the distance of each route must be roughly the same as we arrived at the same time as another couple who opted for the different path.
