Veryan is located six miles south east of Truro off the A3078 The parish church at Veryan St SYMPHORIAN’S and has some Norman features and probably dates to the 13th century. The church, however, appears to be dedicated to a French martyr, called St Symphorian although the remains of at least one Celtic cross can be seen
