Veryan is located six miles south east of Truro off the A3078, These lovely wooden arched bridges were a replacement for concrete ones in the year 2000 as part of the Millennium project. In 1929 the mill pond area was given to the parish of Veryan by Mr McLeod and it was then described as 'the old swan pond'
